Drug Abuse and Addiction in Wyoming

Drug abuse and addiction is everywhere, its something that is very easy to find.  There is no way to put an end to this on-going drug war.  Wyoming although picturesque drugs are an ugly scene with meth being the most popular drug of choice and club drugs on the rise, while marijuana and cocaine are less popular.   

Cocaine – is not among the most popular drugs and has been on the decline for years. Whatever cocaine is readily available it is mostly brought in by Mexican drug organizations. 

Heroin is not prominent in Wyoming in fact little arrests have been made over the past few years.

Meth the largest drug threat Wyoming faces is meth along with the abuse, violent crimes are created from this drug.  Violent crimes like domestic violence, and child abuse.

Club Drugs, such as Ecstasy and GHB are among the rise in dance clubs and college parties.  College kids and young American citizens are most commonly known for abusing these dangerous club drugs.

Marijuana is easily available and grown in remote areas of the state. With a majority of seizures found to be from Mexico, British Columbia and Canada.  Younger Americans are most commonly known for the abuse of marijuana.
