Cocaine is readily available throughout the state and is trafficked in by Caucasians, through Massachusetts, Connecticut and NY. Crack cocaine is not commonly found in the state of Vermont but there is a supply of crack cocaine. Heroin is readily available throughout the state it is found in street/user level quantities. A typical heroin dealer is someone who distributes the drug to support his/her own heroin addict. Meth is not a significant problem in the state of Vermont. It has hardly been found and causes to severe threat to the citizens of Vermont. Club Drugs, Ecstasy is popular and widely available as law enforcement reports large amounts of tables being seized at the ports of entry in Vermont. Marijuana is easily available in all areas of the state and is the drug of choice for most Vermonters. Medical marijuana is also legal in the state of Vermont, but most loads of marijuana is transported through tractor-trailers coming in from the US/Canada border. |
